Director of Sales

Sharon Ross brings 20 years of experience in Sarasota’s luxury real estate market to The Founders Club. A native of Butler, Pennsylvania, and alumna of Michigan State University, she moved to Sarasota in 1983. Sharon began her real estate career in the mid-'80s at The Woodlands II at Bent Tree and later The Oaks. She further honed her skills during ten years as the leading salesperson at The Venice Golf and Country Club, where she established her reputation as a knowledgeable specialist who could listen carefully and anticipate the desires of discerning buyers. She acquired additional sales experience at University Park Country Club before joining the sales and marketing division of U.S. Assets Group in 2003. Assigned to sell luxury condominiums in the Orchid Beach Club on Lido Key, she made $73 million in condominium sales in 18 months.

U. S. Assets Group had teamed with The Starling Group to develop The Founders Club, and in the Fall of 2004, Sharon added the responsibilities of Sales Manager for The Founders Club to her duties. At that time, Ian Fetigan, General Manager of The Founders Club, was also directing marketing and membership functions amongst his other duties. However, as Golf Hall neared completion and The Founders Golf Club became a vibrant entity, he shifted his focus to Club operations. With Orchid Beach Club approaching sellout, Sharon now concentrates exclusively on The Founders Club answering directly to Ian. In July 2005, she became Director of Sales.

As Director of Sales, Sharon develops and approves contracts for the sale of homes and homesites within The Founders Club, hires and trains community representatives and oversees all real estate activities. The Founders Club has sold nearly half of its 262 homesites and has acquired some 150 members to date for The Founders Golf Club.
