Clubhouse Manager
Born and raised in Staten Island, one of the more residential boroughs of New York City, Joseph grew up the youngest of seven children. He honed one of his favorite talents, which is golf, from the early age of twelve beating golf balls each and every day on the links of the most played public course in North America, Dyker Beach in Brooklyn, New York. After leaving high school ranked number one in New York State, he accepted a full golf scholarship to St. John’s University where he majored in accounting with a minor in marketing while being heavily involved in playing amateur golf in the Metropolitan Golf Association. After completing his degree at St. John’s University, Joseph took a position as Office Manager for his family’s Plumbing & Heating Company in Brooklyn, New York. He worked there for 5 years before deciding to make a career and location change. It was at that time, Joseph moved to Sarasota, Florida where he began his career in hospitality at the Longboat Key Club & Resort. There he continued to show promise and motivation learning many aspects of his current industry. He prides himself in having led the Conference Services & Banquet Department to major accomplishments in his years as Banquet Manager. From all of his success, he was promoted to Assistant Food & Beverage Director of the Longboat Key Club & Resort where he continued to lead the Food & Beverage staff to the highest standards. While at the Longboat Key Club & Resort for over eight years, Joseph led many of Sarasota’s major social events including the Annual Ungala Gala held at the Ringling Museum and many of the Annual Sarasota Film Festival events, including the Grand Tribute Dinner to great success.
Joseph now joins The Founders Golf Club as Clubhouse Manager to focus on great experiences for all of the members. Joseph is supported by his wife, Jennifer and three daughters, Natalie, Alexandra and Sophia.
